Buck Reilly & Christopher Block

The principals of Adam & Eve are Buck Reilly and Christopher Block. Buck and Chris first met in the early 1990s while attending the same high school in Rhode Island. They both went on to earn degrees in architecture, Buck from Washington University in St. Louis and Chris from the University of Miami. They have both worked in the design & construction industry since 2004 in a variety of capacities, including stints with prominent architecture firms and real estate developers. In 2011, they launched a successful design-build remodeling firm called Habify, which has designed and completed hundreds of home renovation projects across South Florida and continues to operate.

Buck and Chris founded Adam & Eve Architecture & Garden in 2019 to practice residential building and garden design the way they believe it should be - timeless, contextual, functional, and resilient.

Buck Reilly

I design modern homes and natural landscapes. My interest in hurricane resilience, energy efficiency, minimalism, and the architecture of tropical climates shapes my approach towards architectural design. My interest in native plants, natural habitats, and wildlife informs my approach towards garden design. Knowledge of the human desire for safety, security, and rest, and the beneficial effect of daily interactions with nature and beauty frames my perspective.
